This is the best t-rex model offered anywhere, and at a price that can't be beat!

Introduction:
Tyrannosaurus lived 60 million
years ago in many parts North America in an assortment of types. No complete
fossil of a T-Rex has ever been found, leaving us with an incomplete knowledge
of it's appearance and existence. The assembled composites that now exist
in museums around the world gives us a very good idea of what this animal
might have been like in life.
This Tyrannosaurus replica
is modeled after fossil exhibits displayed in the American Museum of Natural
History, New York, the Chicago Field Museum, the Museum at University
of California's Berkeley Life Science's building, and the Carnegie Museum
in Pittsburgh. The master for this T-Rex replica was entirely hand made,
each bone carved using hand tools and finished with an eye to looking
as close as possible to the actual fossils it was modeled after.

The replica is intended to
be both enjoyed as a display and conversation piece and as an educational
tool. As a fully articulated poseable display it is possible to move all
the body parts in to any position that the animal was capable of in life.
Of course no two scientists or artists imagine T-rex quite the same way,
so the best modern T-Rexes on display in museums are never the same. Once
the bones are excavated and mounted, you are on the trail to fantasy.
No one really knows how these interesting animals held themselves, walked,
ran or jumped. You can explore all these possibilities and more with this
replica. Dimensionally it is as accurate as it can be in one twelfth scale.
You may wish to add the soft tissue and explore the many possibilities
of how this animal may have looked. Information is available on animal
locomotion, how joints work, body mass and more in your local library
and the Internet. Many new books have been published in the last few years
making the study of the Tyrannosaurs a very interesting pastime.
People may not appreciate the
expense involved in mounting a full sized dinosaur skeleton. It can cost
tens of thousands of dollars to buy casts of bones from a museum and can
take a crew years to prepare and mount a T-rex. But for the scale, all
be it smaller, there is no practical difference between this replica and
the full sized fossil, although you should be able to assemble the model
in a single full weekend. At 37 inches, this replica may actually be the
same size as a Tyrannosaurus hatchling. As a hand made article there will
never be very many of these T-Rex replicas produced, which makes it a
collectable item by it's very nature.
You can build and own this amazing replica for only $125.00 plus shipping and handling. Each kit comes with a complete set of finish and assembly instructions. The base is not provided.
